Pray For Preachers Do you pray for preachers? You should. They need it and it is in your interest to do so. Even the apostle Paul asked for people to pray for him, though he was used by God to write most of the New Testament.
1 THESSALONIANS 5:25
25 Brethren, pray for us.A minister can preach the same message at different places but it will not come out the same. Why? Because what the Spirit-led preacher proclaims is determined by the people listening. The spiritual hunger, attentiveness, and needs of the crowd have a tremendous effect on the message delivered. When tempted to criticize the preacher, we should consider whether we prepared ourselves to receive.
2 CORINTHIANS 1:11
11 you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the gift granted to us through many.According to this, we can help a minister by praying for him even if we are not there physically. Do you believe that enough to act on it?

3 meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains,
4 that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. Was he just wasting words or did he really think their prayers would make a difference in his ministry?
HEBREWS 13:18
18 Pray for us; for we are confident that we have a good conscience, in all things desiring to live honorably. If the apostle Paul needed prayer, then surely all ministers today need it, too!
When you do not pray for ministers, especially those who minister to you (your pastor, guest speakers, media ministers you listen to), you are robbing yourself.
