You Are Forgiven! 2 CORINTHIANS 5:19 TEV
19 Our message is that God was making all mankind his friends through Christ. God did not keep an account of their sins, and he has given us the message which tells how he makes them his friends.2 CORINTHIANS 5:19 NJB
19 I mean, God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not holding anyone's faults against them, but entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.You have a clear record in Heaven -- no sins are being held against you! God has already forgiven you!
1 JOHN 2:12 CEV
12 Children, I am writing you, because your sins have been forgiven in the name of Christ.Why?
Because Jesus Christ took your place -- suffering punishment for your sins -- so your slate is wiped clean!
COLOSSIANS 1:13-14 NKJ
13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.HEBREWS 8:12 TEV
12 I will have mercy on their transgressions, and will no longer remember their sins.Does that mean you will automatically go to Heaven when you die?
NO!
You Need Eternal Life You still need the kind of life they have in Heaven -- eternal life. Without it, you will not be able to live in Heaven.
There is only one way to receive eternal life -- to receive Jesus Christ.
JOHN 3:16 NRSV
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.1 JOHN 5:11-12 NKJ
11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.JOHN 5:24 CEV
24 I tell you for certain that everyone who hears my message and has faith in the one who sent me has eternal life and will never be condemned. They have already gone from death to life.1 JOHN 3:14-15 NKJ
14 We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death.
15 Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.Eternal life will change your nature!
ROMANS 6:23 TEV
23 For sin pays its wage death; but God's free gift is eternal life in union with Christ Jesus our Lord.Eternal life is a gift God has for you. Receive it now by calling on the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus loves you and desires the best for you. What a tragedy it would be for you to reject His love, and spend eternity with the devil!
