Songs From Believers Church
Each song is in four formats: GIF, PDF, MIDI, and KAR. You should be able to view the GIF files with your web browser (but the PDF files are sharper). Most multimedia computers can play the MIDI files to hear the songs. These MIDI files are very small, simple, one-instrument files to let you hear the melody.
To download MIDI files instead of just listening to them online, right-click on your mouse with Windows or option-click with Macintosh.
To view the PDF files, or print them, you must have an Adobe Acrobat reader, which is free. Readers are available for Windows, Macintosh, OS/2, and Unix, and can be obtained at this link.
KAR files are Karaoke files, (enhanced MIDI files which have lyrics, also). We are working on making the KAR files more than a simple melody line, so check back for the improved versions. You can get free software to play the KAR files while displaying the lyrics on your computer screen (as large as you desire). For Windows users I recommend Mark's Karaoke Jukebox.
If you have a Pentium computer and run Windows 95, you will probably be thrilled with the sounds your computer can make with the Roland VSC-55 Virtual Sound Canvas (which is like having a very expensive wavetable sound card). The best deal I have seen to purchase the full version is at PG Music or direct from Roland's Edirol.com.
