Should Poor People Give? God commands and commends giving by the poor. The poorer you are the more you have a need to give.
Giving Is Planting Seed For A Harvest 2 CORINTHIANS 9:6-8 NKJ
6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

38 "Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you."Only by giving can seed be planted for a larger harvest. Nobody needs that more than a poor person.
Jesus Commended Widow Giving All She Had LUKE 21:1-4 NKJ
1 Then He looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury,
2 and He saw also a certain poor widow putting in two mites.
3 So He said, "Truly I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all;

11 And as she was going to get it, he called to her and said, "Please bring me a morsel of bread in your hand."
12 Then she said, "As the Lord your God lives, I do not have bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar; and see, I am gathering a couple of sticks that I may go in and prepare it for myself and my son, that we may eat it, and die."
13 And Elijah said to her, "Do not fear; go and do as you have said, but make me a small cake from it first, and bring it to me; and afterward make some for yourself and your son.
14 "For thus says the Lord God of Israel: 'The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth.' "
15 So she went away and did according to the word of Elijah; and she and he and her household ate for many days.
