Faith For Rain

Rain is a blessing from the Lord God Almighty. God's Word, the Bible, has much to say about rain and the lack of it. Read it yourself and act on it.

LEVITICUS 26:3-4
3 'If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them,
4 then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.'

DEUTERONOMY 28:2,4,12
2 "And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God:
4 "Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
12 "The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow."

DEUTERONOMY 28:15,18,24
15 "But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:
18 "Cursed shall be the fruit of your body and the produce of your land, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.
24 "The Lord will change the rain of your land to powder and dust; from the heaven it shall come down on you until you are destroyed."

DEUTERONOMY 11:13-17
13 'And it shall be that if you diligently obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the Lord your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul,
14 'then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.
15 'And I will send grass in your fields for your livestock, that you may eat and be filled.'
16 "Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them,
17 "lest the Lord's anger be aroused against you, and He shut up the heavens so that there be no rain, and the land yield no produce, and you perish quickly from the good land which the Lord is giving you."

2 CHRONICLES 7:13-14
13 "When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people,
14 "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
